Legacy Work

People facing death often find themselves doing a "Life Review" by reflecting on the meaning of life, accomplishments, values & experiences throughout their lives.

Legacy Projects give the dying person a sense of control, something positive to focus on and a way of bringing their families together through meaningful conversations, storytelling and laughter.

Types of Legacy Projects Include:

  • Memory Books/Boxes

  • Video/Audio Recordings

  • Letters

  • Collages

  • Paintings/Drawings

These Projects Could Include:

  • Life Stories

  • Lessons Learned

  • Meaningful Exchanges & Experiences

  • Values & Beliefs

  • Objects & Keepsakes

There are many benefits to preserving a dying person's Legacy such as feelings of connection, meaningful conversations, completing relationships and relieving stress & anxiety, just to name a few.

As your Death Doula, I would love to help you put together a Legacy Project for you or loved one.
